Overview

MedicAnalyze publishes analysis of publicly available Medicaid spending and provider registry data. This page explains what information we collect when you use this site and how you can request corrections.

Information We Display

Provider listings on this site are derived from public government datasets, including CMS Medicaid and NPPES registry records. Information may include provider name, NPI, practice location, phone number, and aggregated Medicaid claim/payment statistics.

Because this data is sourced from public records, listing a provider does not imply endorsement and may not reflect the most recent real-world status.

Information We Collect

  • Technical data: Standard server logs (such as IP address, browser, and requested pages) for security and performance.
  • Form submissions: Information you voluntarily provide in forms (for example, report details, feedback text, and optional email address).
  • Spam prevention: We use Cloudflare Turnstile on forms to reduce abuse.

How We Use Information

  • Operate, secure, and improve the website.
  • Review reported errors and update data displays when appropriate.
  • Respond to inquiries when contact details are provided.
  • Maintain administrative records of submitted reports to support quality control.

Provider Corrections and Removal Requests

If you are a provider (or authorized representative) and believe your listing is incorrect, duplicated, or should be removed from display, submit a request through the same reporting flow used on provider pages:

  1. Open your provider page and click Report an error (shown near "See something wrong on this page?").
  2. In the report form, choose your role as Provider / owner or Staff at this practice.
  3. Clearly request removal or correction, and include supporting evidence (for example NPI record updates, official website details, or closure notice).
  4. Provide an email address if you want follow-up.

You can also start directly at /report. We review requests and, when warranted, update or suppress the displayed listing in line with our public-data publishing purpose.

Data Retention

We retain submitted reports and related moderation records as needed to process requests, prevent abuse, and maintain site integrity. Public-source data may be refreshed periodically from upstream government datasets.

Third-Party Services

We may rely on third-party services for hosting, traffic protection, and bot prevention. Those services may process technical request metadata according to their own policies.

Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy over time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
